Casa De Lauria is located less than one block to Coco Beach, rated the top beach in Playa del Carmen, in a 24 unit condominium building called Hacienda San Jose. The building has lush grounds and a beautiful swimming pool made with boulders and natural rock. This condo development was built in 2001. Casa De Lauria is a premier unit because it is on the top floor (3rd), and has a private 500 sq. ft terrace with panoramic views of the sea and a private Jacuzzi. This is a fantastic location only one block off of the main promenade, where all of the trendy restaurants and shopping is found. It is peaceful and quiet at the condo but only a few steps to all of the excitement. Playa has the inherent charm of its old days as a Mexican village combined with the chic and trendy hot spots that people come from around the world to indulge in.
The town of Playa has a limit on building heights, 3-4 stories and most have grass hut roofing, and the charming cobblestone streets are lined with unique restaurants, boutiques, and incredible night life. At the beach you will be spoiled by the incredible food, frozen drinks and European chill-out music straight from London.
In Playa you do not need a car, life here is relaxing and slow, and everything is a short stroll down the road. Once you spend a holiday in Playa Del Carmen, you will have a hard time leaving. We always do.
